Not only is the title of this song genius, the lyrics are as well. “The future freaks me out.” It really and truly does. I think maybe there’s more to this song than the up beat-ness of this song that keeps me coming back. It’s called “ The future freaks me out” by Motion City Soundtrack. Now, I know that the tension is probably killing you, so I’ll tell you the song. I don’t know why, but this is one of those songs that I could dance to for hours and never break a sweat or get tired or want to stop. I was having a moment where I wasn’t thinking about anything at all and then this song comes on and things go from a “pretty good” to a “wow that just blew my mind” on the ‘seli-motion*’ charts. I was walking back from a seminar this morning with my little shuffle clipped to my shirt, my backpack on my back and my boots on my feet, and a song came on and a smile immediately leapt on my face. So it’s really no surprise that when I’m studying, or feeling down I listen to a tune, but I have to say that recently nothing has made me happier than two things: Motion City and those little pumpkin candies that you can get around Halloween. There’s a band that my hubby introduced me to called motion city soundtrack (their website can be visited from the link on this page) and I have to say, they’ve made my life 121% better this week.
